Aurelia Reyna Perez, born to Ernesto and Maria De Jesus Cabrera Reyna on August 11, 1925 went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2011 at the age of 86.
She is survived by her loving family: three sons; Gilbert (Martha) Jr., Gabriel (Margarita) from Big Wells, TX, Rudy (Martha) from Edinburg, TX, seven daughters; Josie Gomez, Elia (Andrew) Madrigal, Alma (Victor) Madrigal from Hale Center, TX, Elizabeth Hernandez, Estela (Mark) Martinez from Plainview, TX, Esther (Cipriano) Castaneda from Edinburg, TX, and Angie (Joel) Cavazos from Alvin, TX. Also left to cherish her memory are 28 grandchildren, 65 great- grandchildren, and 8 great-great- grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all of her family, friends and all those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Gilberto Perez Sr., a son; David Perez, and brother; Ramiro Reyna.
The Perez family will receive friends Monday, December 12, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Templo Bethel de Cladic in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
