Antonio Gonzalez, Sr., 60, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 28, 2013 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born September 27, 1952 in Edinburg, TX to Alberto Gonzalez and Catalina Estrella Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife of 20 years; Guadalupe Herrera, sons; Antonio (Paula) Gonzalez, Jr., Ruben Herrera, Alex Herrera, and Victor Herrera, daughters; Cassandra Gonzalez and Elizabeth Cortez, brothers; Juan Gonzalez, Joe Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez and Luis Gonzalez, sisters; Tina Huerta and Celia Gonzalez, 14 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Gonzalez will be held Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
