Alicia Rocha, 91, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. She was born January 29, 1920 in Santa Rosa, Texas to Julian Leal and Emilia Turner Leal. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 65 years; Antonio Rocha, Jr., son; Antonio (Sandra) Rocha, III, daughters; America (Antonio) Hernandez, Celeste (Mitch) Ladyman, grandchildren; Mary Lou, Linda, Elisa, Ryan, Antonio IV, Daniel and great-grandson; Daniel Anthony. She will be missed by her family and all those who knew her. She was a wonderful wife who devoted herself to serving her family, her home and anyone that would come into her home. Whoever visited her home would never leave without having at least a cup of coffee or snack. She was a true servant at heart. We would like to “Thank you” for all of your prayers and acts of kindness.
The Rocha family received friends Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a service at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Chapel at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home. A Christian service will be held today, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Family Chapel at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
