Alicia Garcia, 82, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born June 5, 1929 in Edinburg, Texas to Benito Salinas, Sr., and Luz Villarreal Salinas.
Alicia is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Arnoldo Garcia, Sr., son; Benjamin Garcia, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her sons; Arnoldo (Ofelia) Garcia, Jr., Baldemar (Laura) Garcia and Anivar (Melissa) Garcia, daughters; Velma Perez, Esmeralda (Daniel) Walker, Alma (Saul) Gonzalez and Rosario Garcia, brothers; Roberto Salinas and Santos Salinas, sister; Amelia Flores, 17 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Garcia Family will receive friends today, Saturday, April 28, 2012 and Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Mass will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to El Cibolo Cemetery in Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
