Alejandro “Alex” Rodriguez, 40, entered eternal rest on February 6, 2014 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on September 20, 1973 in Reynosa, Mexico to Oscar Rodriguez and Maria Elena Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Teresa L. Rodriguez; sons, Juan Alejandro Rodriguez, Pablo Jose Rodriguez; daughter, Elena Beatriz Rodriguez; mother, Maria Elena Rodriguez; brothers, Oscar Rodriguez, Heriberto Rodriguez, Marco Antonio Rodriguez, Francisco Javier Rodriguez; sisters, Leticia Vallencia, Patricia Mendoza, Claudia Ontiveros, Lilia Ortiz, Marta Elena Zamora, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will truly be missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
His family will be receiving friends Monday, February 10, 2014 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am with a Christian Service to follow at 10:00 am in the Family Chapel at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 E. Kuhn, Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Heriberto Rodriguez, Oscar Rodriguez, Francisco Javier Rodriguez, Marco Antonio Rodriguez, Leo Lopez, and Oscar Garcia. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
