Alberto "Beto" Vazquez, 56, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Reeves Hospital Emergency Room in Pecos, Texas. He was born on a Sunday, March 2, 1969 in Yautepec, Morelos, Mexico to Hector Vasquez and Delia Carrillo Vasquez. He is preceded in death by his niece; Joselyn Love Valenzuela Saenz.

Alberto is survived by his children; Kimberly Ashley (Bryce) Modrell, Alondra Marie Vazquez, Jennifer Vasquez, Carlos Alberto Vasquez and Jessie Vasquez, grandson; William Modrell, parents; Hector and Delia Vasquez, mother of his daughter and Best Friend; Nikki Martinez, sisters; Jennifer (Ferando) Saenz, Luz Vasquez (Albert) Arredondo, Eliza Vasquez Storms and Maria Vasquez, brother; Pablo Cesar (Soila) Vasquez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a fan of cars, sports and music, where he himself was Known as DJ Black Diamond for 28 years and enjoyed the tradition of culture and customs of Los Chinelos in his beloved city of Yautepec. He had a love for the open road which led him to being a Truck Driver for 27 years, 8 of those years he was employed with Rapid Transport. In his downtime he enjoyed watching wrestling, lucha libre and movies such as “Predator” and his favorite “As Good As It Gets” as well as decorating. He especially loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

The Vazquez Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM-7:30 PM at Templo Emmanuel IPHC, 317 North Veterans Boulevard, Edinburg, Texas with Pastor Reverend San Juanita Perez officiating. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Kimberly Ashley Modrell, Alondra Marie Vazquez, Pablo Cesar Vasquez, Fernando Saenz, Enrique Martinez, Jr., Manuel Angel Martinez, Enrique Martinez, III, and Darius Arredondo. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg.
