Melida Neida Lopez

Melida Neida Lopez, 64, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at her residence in Edinburg. She was born on Thursday, November 20, 1958 to Ricardo Flores and Hermila Palacios-Flores. Melida is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years; Eliasib “Eli” Lopez, children; Adrian (Miriam) Martinez and Sandy Lopez, grandchildren; Roel Jacuide, Scarlet Jacuinde, Bella Jacuinde, Myte Martinez and Arely Martinez, brother; Ricardo “Ricky” Flores as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Melida loved sewing, shopping and was a Para Professional at Austin Elementary for 36 years. She loved living life to the fullest but her favorite was loving on her family and spending time with them She especially loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
The Lopez family will gather on Saturday, October 7, 2023 for a graveside burial at 10:00 AM at Los Ebanos Cemetery, 598 Jose Garcia Street, Los Ebanos, Texas. Funeral services are under the direction of Johnny Garcia Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
