Sacarias Barreiro

Sacarias "Kiko" Barreiro, 95, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Senior Care of Edinburg. He was born on Thursday, December 15, 1921 in McAllen, Texas to Sacarias Barriero and Josefa Garza Barreiro. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Anita Estrada, Jesusa Corpus, Abelina Hernandez, Amando Estrada, Julia Barreiro, Elisa Rodriguez and Maria E. Elizondo.
Kiko is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He worked for the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District for many years at Sam Houston Elementary. He enjoyed dancing and he lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends today, Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be Ruben Estrada, Bobby Estrada, Amando Estrada, Rene Estrada, Pete Borrego and Ernesto Rodriguez. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
